My son in Texas bought stadium chairs for when we go to watch soccer games at the granddaughters college - Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas. He wanted the logo put on the back so of course 'mom' will do them. It took a while to get the logo digitized and with the help of a friend it turned out pretty good. This was the first time that I had embroidered on canvas. Hooped a mesh stabilizer, basted in the hoop the size of the design, cut a piece of sticky stabilizer and basted that onto the mesh piece. Smoothed the chair back (after I took it apart) over the sticky (did not hoop the canvas). All went well but it took over 3 hours to stitch out each one - 86K stitches. I am pleased with the way they turned out.

A whimsical 9 patch which was fun to make. The banner was made orange / black for the colors of Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas. Crosshatching is uneven intentionally. I sent it to my granddaughter to decorate her dorm. The pattern is The Ninepatchers - A Family Reunion by Mickey Depre
